Matsuri & Hanabi

Summer in Japan rhymes with parties, festivals (Matsuri) and fireworks (Hanabi)!

From half July to the end of August, lots of events take place around Japan. Since it is also summer break for schools and universities, events such as fireworks are usually veeeery crowded, and very tiring to assist to (I've spent 1h30 in a supermarket to buy drinks for a fireworks...). It is also the occasion to wear a Yukata, a sort of summer Kimono.

I'll try to update regularly this article with photos from events I've participate to during this summer.
