In Japan, it is very common for students to have "study trips" (Gosshuku) with their class or lab mates during summer vacation. Mine took place in Tateshina, in the mountains (~1500m) near Nagano, and was quite the study one, since I had to assist to lectures from bachelor students all day long, but I still managed to escape and take some pictures around Megami Mizumi (Venus Lake), and a fishing pound where we caught and eat fresh fishes!
