Hiroshima

I took the week off and did a little trip in the Kansai area, starting with Hiroshima. Hiroshima is tragically famous for being the first selected target for a nuclear attack during World War II. The "A-bomb dome" (above & under) which managed to "survive" the nuclear blast, has become the symbol of a city fighting for peace and nuclear weapons dismantlement around the world.
