Odaiba

Crossing the Rainbow Bridge over the Tokyo Bay allows you to reach an artificial island called Odaiba. It was initially built for defensive purposes in the 1850s, dramatically expanded during the late 20th century as a seaport district, and has developed since the 1990s as a major commercial, residential and leisure area.

This place is quite attractive for young people and couples since you can find many attractions (beach, windsurfing, hunted house, huge game center,Fuji TV building,...) as well as some big shopping centers and good restaurants.

You can also find a replica of the Statue of Liberty, giving a little air of New York in the back ground.

Odaiba is also the place where you can find a showroom from Toyota where cars and prototypes are displayed.
