Nakasendo Hiking Trail

Hi! It's been a while again...
Yesterday, I was lucky to have the day off with such a nice weather, so I decided to get out a bit of the city and explore the countryside nearby.

The Nakasendo Hiking trail is a great one day trip from Nagoya, as it offers a completely different atmosphere. Welcome to the wild and old Japan!

Magome and Tsumago are two old post towns where one can admire scenery from the past century. The hiking trail linking the two towns is about 8km long, very nice and quite easy. Highly recommended! Sad I didn't encounter a bear though...

Nagoya (Ongoing)

Hi! It's been a while... I am now back in Japan and living in Nagoya, so you'll get to see some more pictures from around here. Have a nice visit :)

Today was a beautiful spring day, so I went out with my camera to Tokugawa Garden, which is nearby Ozone, north part of Nagoya. Like almost all traditional japanese garden, the atmosphere there is very peaceful, and it is definitively a very nice place to relax.
